The Presbyterian Medical Clinic in Patchakan, Belize is an established facility consisting of several exam rooms, a dental suite, a lab, and a pharmacy that MTW helps support. It serves the local population, providing maternal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric primary medical care.

We hope to have a couple interns join us this summer and serve. If you are a U.S. licensed nurse, you will be involved in hands-on medical work, supervised by the clinic’s physician. In addition, or if you aren’t licensed, you might do clerical work, pharmacy assistance, sort and organize supplies, or do health education. There will also be opportunities for evangelistic outreach into the villages through the local Presbyterian churches. 

Dates: June through July; Year-round opportunities may also available.
